Dr Roderick Fahey

Dr. Fahey graduated in Medicine from the National University of Ireland Galway in 1984 and has built a distinguished medical career spanning more than four decades. His journey has taken him far beyond the traditional path, gaining extensive experience as a physician in New York, Wales, Iraq, Liverpool, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Australia before returning home to Galway, Ireland.

Before establishing his practice in Portumna, County Galway, Dr. Fahey served as Medical Director at Galway Hospice, where he further developed his expertise in compassionate, patient-centred care. His international experience has given him a broad perspective on healthcare, allowing him to draw on a wealth of knowledge gained from working in diverse medical systems and cultures around the world.
