Muirne is a qualified counsellor with a degree in counselling and psychotherapy. She works congruently and empathetically with adults and adolescents who are experiencing mental health difficulties, including anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and relationship difficulties. Her aim is to support her clients who are contemplating positive change in their lives.
She provides a non-judgmental, supportive, safe space for her clients and believes in the transformative power of the therapeutic relationship. As she works with a humanistic and integrative approach, Muirne may combine various modalities and techniques to help her clients achieve the most positive outcome from therapy.
Her approach is customised to suit each individual client’s needs and may include elements of CBT, psychoanalysis, inner-child work, sand tray therapy, and emotion-focused therapy, along with talk therapy. She is a fully accredited member of APCP
