St Patrick's Day Portumna - Shorelines Arts Festival

Calling All Artists

The visual arts are a major component of Portumna’s Shorelines Arts Festival and this year’s Exhibition at the Gallery at the Irish Workhouse Centre will officially open on Sunday, Sept 6th from 5-7pm.

The exhibition will then run for two weeks, 11-5pm daily,  until Sunday Sept 20th and offers local artists an opportunity to showcase their work. The committee invites one piece per artist, suitable and ready to hang from each interested artist over 16 years. Paintings, drawings and photography are accepted once the work is original, new and framed, ready to hang.

To be included, the committee are taking in work at the Irish Workhouse Centre in Portumna from 6pm -7.30pm on both Monday August 24th and Tuesday August 25th with a registration fee of €5.
