Portumna Courthouse Art Exhibition – Call for Submissions

Portumna Courthouse welcomes submissions from artists located no more than 15km from the building for the first annual art exhibition. Radius sets a boundary on the geographic location of applicants to explicitly highlight the high calibre of creative talent in our community.

This first exhibition will provide our local artists with a unique opportunity to exhibit together in the newly refurbished Courthouse building. While there is no formal theme, artists are encouraged to submit work that responds to the idea of the hyperlocal or depicts the area in some way.

Artists can submit new or existing work, but it must be framed and/or ready to hang. At this time, work requiring plinths will not be considered. Limit of one piece per artist, so please submit your strongest work.

No application fee or commission will be charged; however, artists will be responsible for most of the invigilation and will be required to sign up for a timeslot to monitor the space.
