Shorelines Film Nights presents: Hamnet

Adapting Maggie O’Farrell’s best-selling novel, Oscar-winner Chloé Zhao’s Hamnet explores the initial courtship between William Shakespeare (Paul Mescal) and free-spirited Agnes Hathaway (Jessie Buckley), which leads to a happy marriage and three children. But while Will is in London furthering his theatre career, an unbearable tragedy strikes the family and tests the previously strong bond of the couple.

Jessie Buckley won best actress at this year's Academy Awards for her standout performance, and the film has garnered multiple international awards, including at the Golden Globes, BFI London Film Festival, and the Critics' Choice Awards.
